Hi I'm Maria. I created Sacred Business for people who want guidance on their business, career, purpose, decisions, direction, and next steps — but who also sense there is something deeper happening underneath it all. Sometimes you do not need more opinions - you need confirmation. Sometimes you just need someone who can see the business, the energy, the block, the timing, the pattern, and the practical next step all at once.

Being an entrepreneur and successful business owner is what I do. But being a spiritual guide is who I am.

How did practicing Reiki help me in business? There were a lot of terrifying moments when the business was without cash flow. The bills were coming in and I was terrified. Kathleen guided me in shamanic journeys where I met my guides, and I began to ask them for help. They led me to books, videos and people who would teach me what I needed to know. I leaned on God more than ever - giving my business to Him in 2012. That one act allowed me to put all of my faith in Him. I rested. And He did the work. Throughout my years owning and developing these businesses I would become so tired, that I would just give out. I’d hear, "just rest."  Now I understand the beauty and value of stillness and allowing. This kind of rest lets the higher self (soul) step in and lead your next steps. 

Professional Life
I am the owner and founder of multiple businesses that I started from scratch and still own all of it. I have been an entrepreneur for 17 years, building and running three businesses while mentoring chefs, employees, students, clients, and other entrepreneurs into becoming the best version of themselves.Before I started my own business, I worked as a successful marketing and communications director and consultant for multiple companies in and around Washington, DC. I have studied a bunch, won some things, helped some people, and used my gift to help others create their own business. It's definitely my gift. More about professional me on Linkedin.
 

For years, I thought I was just naturally good at seeing the path people should take. I could listen to someone talk about an idea and suddenly see the structure, the offer, the audience, the next steps, the problem, the opportunity, and the plan.
