Stop feeding the problem

Right now in my personal life, there is a lot going on. It's easy to embody the problems that I am having with a property dispute. I sat on Chatgpt trying to work it out for over four hours one day and that only made me react even more when correspondence or a phone call about it came in.
I sought help from God during one of my meditations and got one of the clearest teachings. I acknowledged my part in the conflict and how it has become larger internally because of how much attention, fear, anger, distrust, and mental energy it has been receiving.
The message was plainly:
Stop feeding it.
Not necessarily stop handling practical matters—but stop emotionally becoming the problem.
I identified my own pattern very clearly:
something happens;
you feel attacked or ignored;
distrust increases;
anger rises;
you investigate further;
the mind starts building the case;
then you recognize, “I’m spiraling.”
And then comes the question that changes the entire conversation:
“Why is this my issue? What is it teaching me? It’s not happening to me. It’s happening for me.”
That may be one of the most important revelations in the whole session.
The lesson wasn't simply “ignore problems.” It was:
Handle the issue without allowing the issue to become your emotional identity.
